January 2025 Prayer Requests

  • Continue to pray that this school year would be productive and protected with no further interruptions. Pray also that EVERY student would find a Sponsor! This is VERY important, as our wonderful Sponsors make this education opportunity possible for these children— please consider joining us!

  • Please pray for safety and encouragement for our staff, our community, and the children in our care during these particularly difficult and dangerous times. Our immediate area has quieted down for now, but unpredictable violent activity continues to occur, and the emotional trauma as well as the very real physical dangers are impactful.

  • Safety, courage, and support for the Haitian police force as they battle the violent gangs

  • Pray for increased funding across the board: inflation is impacting our ability to make our dollars s-t-r-e-t-c-h, and we need your help!

  • Angel House needs Orphan Care Sponsors! Lorvens, Lorvensky and Betsaïda especially need Sponsors.

  • Pray for the strength and medical recovery of Betsaïda and Leilah of Angel House Orphanage as they continue in their journey to wellness, and pray that obstacles to Betsaïda’s treatment will be removed. Betsaïda is struggling extra hard right how with her medical issues and would very much appreciate your prayers!

  • Please pray for smooth and timely processing of upcoming adoptions through Haitian social services—with the severe slowdown of government processes due to both unrest and pandemic, this needs LOTS of prayer!

  • Pray for travel to open up again to Haiti. Our private shipper, along with other flights, are currently halted by the US government for safety reasons. We need our shipper to be free to continue operations so that we may resume receiving supplies, as it has become increasing difficult and costly to source what we need in Haiti.

  • Availability of food, water, fuel for transportation, and other supplies— this is a critical concern, as supplies are becoming very scarce due to the shutdown on all flights.

  • Consistent operation of government offices, banks, and other businesses

  • The resources for hospitals to remain open, and special prayers for one of our hospital partners, Bernard Mevs, which was recently destroyed by gang attack, that their faith and hope would remain strong as they seek to rebuild

  • Our Haiti staff, US/CAN staff and partners

  • The future, health, and good care for all the little ones

  • Our Medical and Dental Programs need increased funding to expand services to our children and local community.

  • Pray for a quick and smooth completion to our foundation status in Haiti, which will benefit us greatly both operationally and legally in Haiti.

  • We would LOVE for you to join us in fasting and praying the first Monday of each month! Thank you for your prayer support.
