Masked Heroes

Not all heroes wear capes…Ours wear masks!

Our Angel House Orphanage staff was recently gifted with locally-crafted face masks—just in time, too, since only a few days ago Haitian government mandated that everyone must wear a mask whenever they leave home. Although these ladies are working extended shifts at Angel House for the short term to reduce exposure, they were nonetheless delighted to receive and model their gifts. We love that sparkle in their eyes!

This small group of ladies has tirelessly cared for the 14 very energetic children at Angel House since COVID-19 stay-at-home measures began several weeks ago. Although they miss their own families, our heroes love these little ones deeply and are enjoying not only some extra kiddo time but also the unexpected opportunity to deepen friendships with their fellow workmates.

We appreciate every one of these amazing heroes for their strong love and commitment. And to those heroes behind the scenes who make all of this possible by choosing to sponsor the children of Angel House, we are grateful and want to say, “THANK YOU”.

The world can never have too many heroes.
